Mangalore : BA Moidin Bava, Mangalore North Constituency Legislator has submitted a memorandum to Urban Development Minister Vinaykumar Sorake urging him to include several villages in Mangalore North Constituency under the Greater Mangalore Project.

Speaking to reporters later at Bangalore, Bava said he has  made a move in this regard as per the promise made by him to the people of his constituency. He said several rural areas like Ganjimutt, Ulaibettu, Neermarga, Gurupur in Mangalore North constituency should be  included in Greater  Mangalore and added the step would be taken after consultations with the villagers concerned.

He said  the initiative will help in the development of the villages and will also give a boost to ongoing projects.

Bava said he had already met CM Siddaramaiah and submitted a memorandum to him in this regard and added  the CM has agreed in-principle for the project.
