Udupi: Senior Congress leader B Janardhan Poojari has said that the BDA site row in which the Law Minister Suresh Kumar was involved, must be handed over to the CBI so that the truth comes out.
Speaking to reporters in Udupi, Poojari said it was nothing but a drama of resignation and then withdrawal of resignation. He accused Chief Minister Sadananda Gowda of shielding an accused minister. He also questioned the logic of the CM asking the Advocate General to submit a report and added the CJ in his report has said nothing new, but what Suresh Kumar had told earlier.
He said the state government was immersed neck deep in corruption and that there was no government functioning in the state. Most of those in the government are facing corruption charges, he said.
Poojari also made a mockery of the race for the CM’s chair and the bid to dislodge CM Sadananda Gowda from his chair.
Harikrishna Bantwal, Sanjeeva Moily, Alevoor Harish Kini, Alevoor GP Chief and other Congress leaders were present.
