Mangalore: As part of International Coastal Cleanup Day, the Coast Guards in association with district administration and other organizations undertook a cleanliness drive at Tannirbhavi, Panambur, Surathkal and Malpe beaches.

At the cleanliness drive held at Panambur beach a large number of NCC cadets, Coast Guards and members of various organizations took part.  The drive was led by Coast Guard Commandant (JG) Rajender Singh Sapal.

He was appreciative of the various organizations including Corporation Bank, Syndicate Bank, Karnataka Bank, MRPL, KMF for extending co-operation.

Trophies were awarded the best performing teams considering their levels of enthusiasm.
