Mangalore : Bearys Welfare Association Bangalore organsied a programme to distribute the scholarships to poor and deserving Beary students at Jamiyathul Falah Hall in Kankanaday on Nov 12 Saturday.

Yogish Bhat, the deputy speaker, presided over the event while MP Nalin Kumar Kateel was the chief guest.

Moodubidri MLA Abhayachandra Jain applauded the efforts of the Beary people to handle risks in life to achieve something.

MLA U. T. Khader , M. B. Abdul Rehman, the president of the Karnataka Beary Sahitya Academy; Moideen Bawa; and Mansoor and Iqbal, the office bearers of the Bearys Welfare Association were also present.

M. B. Farooq, the president of the Bearys Welfare Association, welcome the guests and  delivered keynote address.
