Beltangady : In a tempo and auto rickshaw accident Four persons were killed and six others injured near Laila bridge here on Sunday 20th October.

Auto rickshaw passengers of the two year old kid Irfan, Hassainar (40), Mohammed Zainabi (30) and Nasir (13) have been killed. Zainabi and Nasir passed away on the way to the hospital. Hassainar and Irfan were killed on the spot.

Nafisa (55), Zohra (40), Mariamma (35), Dilshad (12) and rickshaw driver Shareef (24) are injured passengers in auto rickshaw.

Auto rickshaw passengers returning from Kajoor and tempo on their way to Dharmasthala.

Tempo driver Chetan and other passengers of tempo escaped in minor injuries.

Interruption was caused by vehicle traffic for an hour. Beltangady police arrived at the spot.

The injured passengers admitted in Mangalore Private hospital.
