Belthangady: The State Mujrai and ports Minister Kota Srinivas Poojari was warmly felicitated on behalf of the Belthangady unit of the BJP on Wednesday at the Ujire Sri Sharada Mantap.

Responding to the felicitation, the minister emphasized the need for development of various temples in the state which need repair, but are facing paucity of funds. He said the state has 35000 Hindu temples of which 155 temples earn  more than Rs 25 lakh revenue.

K Prabhaker Bangera, MLA,  Pratap Singh Nayak, BJP Leader, Vijay Raghava Padvatnaya, Managing Trustee of Ujire Sri Janardhana Shakti Temple and others were present .

The Minister also visited the Sri Somanatheshwara Temple of Aladangady, Sri Satyadevatha Temple and  Kanyadi Sri Rama Mandir. At Kanyadi he was honoured by Sri Brahmananda Swamiji and at Aladangady, Dr Padmaprasad Ajila felicitated the new minister.
