Mangalore : Bengre Anand Amin, a member of the Mangalore Aquatic Club,  has  made Mangalore proud by winning two gold and four silver at the 14th  State-level Masters Swimming Championship held at Vijayanagar Swimming Centre in Bangalore recently. With this win he has been qualified for the National Masters Swimming Championship.

He bagged gold in 50m breaststroke and 100m breaststroke events in the group F, and silver in 50m freestyle, 50m butterfly, 4x 50 meter medley relay and 4x 50m freestyle relay.

Amin  who works for  Syndicate Bank at its  Mission Street branch  in Mangalore, has so far won nearly 400 medals in various state and national level swimming and wrestling events.
