Mangalore:  More hurdles for “Katariveera Surasundarangi.” In Mangalore members of the Bhajrangdal and the Durga Vahini stalled the screening of the film at Suchitra and Big Cinemas at Bharat Mall, threatening of dire consequences if the film was continued to be screened.

The agitators also burnt posters of the film and shouted slogans against the film makers. They alleged that the film had offended Hindu religion and denigrated Hindu gods.

Bhajrangdal leaders Sharan Pumpwell, Pradeep, Harish Amtady, Sunil and others were part of the protest.
