Mangaluru: For the security reason three prime accused in sensational Bhaskar Shetty murder case, Rajeshwary Shetty (50), Niranjan Bhat (27) and Navaneeth Shetty (21) have been transferred to Shivamogga jail from Dakshina Kannada district central prison in Mangaluru on Friday.

The decision to transfer the accused came following some security reasons. Some reports stated that, the inmates in the Mangaluru jail asked the prime accused for hafta. Both under trail prisoners, Niranjan and Navaneeth were assaulted by a group of jail inmates just a few days ago and the duo were survived with minor injuries. Meanwhile, the police have booked attempt to murder case on the group of prisoners who assulted the duo.
