Udupi: The judicial custody of all the five accused of businessman Bhaskar Shetty murder case has been extended by the court till October 17, on Monday.
As the judicial custody of the accused was ended on Monday, they were produced before the court by the CID police.
The prime accused Rajeshwari, Navneet and Niranjan Bhat’s judicial custody has been extended by the court, rest two accused Raghavendra and Shrinivas Bhat are waiting for the court’s order to be reached to the jail authorities as they have secured the bail.
They may walk out of the jail in a day or two, as soon as the court order reached the jail authorities. After the order copy reaches the jail authorities, Shrinivas Bhat and Raghavendra have to sign the bond papers to meet the conditions of the court.
As per the court deadline, there are only 35 days left to submit the chargesheet to the court.
Unlike last time, Rajeshwari was brought in a police vehicle. Last time she was brought in a bus and her lawyers had objected the move of the police.
