Mangaluru : The state government on Wednesday  passed a order to transfer superintendent of police (SP) Bhushan Gulabrao Borase has been transferred to Bengaluru as DCP of administration.

Bhushan Gulabrao Borase came to Dakshina Kannada as SP in May 2016.

Chikkabalapur sp Sudheer Kumar Reddy has appointed as new SP of Dakshina Kannada.

He served as additional superintendent of police in Bhatkal in Dakshina Kannada district, and later as SP of Bidar district.

Sudheer Kumar Reddy, is a BTech graduate from Pondicherry Engineering College, and native of Narsaraopet in Guntur district in Andhra Pradesh. He is an IPS officer of the 2010 batch.

After a viral video circulated on social media of Ramantah Rai ducting to Arrest Kalladka Prabhakara bhat through Bhushan Gulabrao Borase, the district witnessed verbal clashes between political parties as a hot issue.
