Patna: Burharia in Bihar is represented in legislature by one, Shyam Bahudur Singh who is reported to have danced on Saturday with a bar-girl, in ill-reputed un likely forms, and has been picked up on Video/TV channels, creating an uproar in Bihar assembly.

The ruling JD(u) MLA, S .B. Singh was in a marriage pandal celebrating a happy social occasion but to get down to uncouth low levels of belly dancing with a bar-girl, he should have been drunk to the hilt, it is assumed.

Or was he showing one upmanship with Karnataka MLAs on tourist displays?

He agreed that he danced with an artiste in a marriage hall. There is no offence in it, it is common everywhere to dance on streets or in halls during a marriage, he defended.
