Mangaluru: In a tragic incident a young student lost his life after his bike hit with a tipper lorry at Nagori on Wednesday.

Ahmed Riyan, an engineering student pursuing his second year mechanical engineering education at Sahyadri Engineering College is the deceased person. He was a resident of Bhatkal and here in city he was staying in Bhatkal hostel.

His body was lying on the road more than half an hour and there was no one to shift the body.

Mangaluru rural police have registered a case and took necessary action.

Body has been sent to the post-mortem and after the procedures it will be taken to Bhatkal.
