Kundapur : One Jayachandra (34) was severely attacked by some assailants who  intercepted his bike near the fish market here on September 2, Monday night.

It is  learnt a previous enmity with one Rohan was responsible for the  attack. It is said Rohan was a notorious rowdy and was even involved in a brawl in a hotel in Kundapur some time back.

The victim Jayachandra was married recently and lived in a rented accommodation near the market road.
