Belthangady: In a tragic mishap reported from near Badyar  near Venoor, a young motorcyclist lost his life when his two-wheeler collided with a pick-up truck on May 18, Friday.

The deceased has been identified as Asif (27). He is said to be hailing from Sastan in Kundapur taluk. It is said the mishap took place when he was on way to the Aladangady bus stop to drop a relative who had arrived at his house to attend a function.

Venoor Police have registered a case.
