New Delhi : A day after Bihar chief minister said Modi is a fascist like Hitler, the BJP launched counter attack by saying that it was language of a loser but wondered why is Nitish Kumar turning a blind eye to corruption in Congress-led UPA government.
Replaying the charges Narendra Modi had made against the JDU government during the Hunkar rally in Patna, BJP spokesperson Ravi Shankar Prasad said that Kumar was not only coming close to Congress but using their vocabulary as well.
“We were troubled to hear Kumar call Modi Hitler and fascist as this is the language of the Congress. Indira Gandhi used to call JP fascist. We were called fascists in 1989 by those who were attacking V P Singh for taking our support. Hitler and fascist are the language of losers. Why is Nitish using it? Has he already accepted defeat?” the Rajya Sabha deputy leader asked.
Asking the chief minister to come clean whether he will have an electoral alliance with Congress, Prasad wanted to know that why Kumar was soft on corruption, price rise and missgovernance in the central government.
“There was not even a whisper from Nitish Kumar on corruption in Congress, or the tear-giving price rise of onions and other items, and not a word on the malgovernance of UPA government,” Prasad said. Mocking at JDU figuring at anti-communal convention in the national capital, the spokesperson said, “a ritual is on in Delhi which takes place before every Lok Sabha election. This is a quest for an illusory Third Front but the Third Front is history.”
