Udupi: Black flags were waved to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah by the BJP activists at Ajjarakadu on Sunday.

Objecting the cabinet’s decision to hand over the government children and women hospital to private company that is to NRI businessman B R Shetty BJP activists had held the protest.

When CM Siddaramaiah arrived at Ajjarakadu town hall to lay foundation stone for the proposed hospital, BJP workers who were gathered at the place showed the black flag as a sign of their protest.

Police interrupted the protest and arrested many activists.
