Sullia: Karnataka ranks second in the nation as far as development is concerned, next only to Gujarat which tops the list, said Deputy Chief Minister KS Eshwarappa.
He was speaking after inaugurating various developmental programmes and laying foundation for many more projects at Sullia on January 23, Wednesday. Continuing, Eshwarappa said the BJP, if elected to power in the state again, would see to it that the state topped the table of development.
At the same time the Deputy CM also chose to say that the state also topped n political confusion and added the party would be cautious while selecting candidates for the next election.
Senior farmer Upendra Kamath honoured Eshwarappa to thank the government for deciding to give the rights of Kumki lands to farmers.
Sullia MLA S Angara, presided over the function. K Monappa Bhandari, MLC, KFDC President SN Manmatha, TP President Gunavathi Kollantadka, TP Chief Sumathi Narayan, AC H Prasanna, Tahsildar Vaidyanath and others were present.
