Udupi: The Campaign work of 3 Parties in the battle of Udupi-Chikkamagalur by poll win has begun now.
Addressing a rally of local BJP workers CM Sadananda Gowda said on Wednesday here that BJP was a cadre based party of workers while congress and JD-s were dominated by leaders who did not have a democratic attitude but were aiming at power in selfish ways.
In contrast, he said BJP was oriented towards development, and Karnataka is next only to Gujarat in implementing 20- point development projects.
There were more development plans brought about by BJP Govts. In 4 years than Congress or JD-Secular, 4 to be decades.
CM Gowda told the gathering that congress had no moral right to seek votes, as it never friendly with people in general, and farmers in particular.
But BJP had implemented many people-friendly programmes. He warned land mafia, of strict action for raising land prices, and acquiring cheap lands.
He said files would move faster in all govt. offices as per time limits set for them.
BJP state chief K.S. Eshwarappa told workers that BJP was not leader-centric body like other Parties. BJP takes collective decisions.
He said CM had given title deeds to slum-dwellers. He argued that caste was a Congress tool but BJP was not communal party.
It took collective decisions for all people, not only for Dalits or Muslims, as congress did. He accused Congress Party leaders of building vote banks by making hollow promises recorded in their hand books.
He ridiculed Congress as a party without an identity or a programme now, as it was corrupt as a whole.
KSE admitted that BJP had internal differences of opinion but that did not prevent it form functioning as a party in service of people without labels of secularism, and minorities appeasement.
Only BJP could provide clean government, he reiterated.
BJP was successful, he added, in state elections in 5 states held recently, he claimed.
