Mangalore: The Bharatiya Janata Party DK unit of released party’s election manifesto for the Mangalore Lok Sabha constituency at the election office in Bunts Hostel on April 5 Saturday.
Speaking after manifesto release, Capt Ganesh Karnik, MLC, said that the manifesto highlighted the developmental projects in the district.
The manifesto is planned for agriculture, horticulture, fisheries, culture, sports , employment and industries developments.
K Jayaram Shetty and Balakrishna Bhat, prepared the manifesto. It was shown original problems in the district. Corruption less society, safety of women mainly highlighted, he said.
The manifesto assures to pay attention to getting a direct train from this coastal to Bangalore via Arasikere and ensuring that the frequency of train services to the state capital is proportionately increased.
Rajani Duganna, former mayor, Yogish Bhat, former deputy speaker, Kumble Sundar Rao, Rukamaiah Poojary, Sudheer Ghate and others were present on the occasion.
