New Delhi : BJP MP Pragya Singh Thakur has been axed from consultative committee of defence a day after she referred to Nathuram Godse as ‘deshbhakt’ in Lok Sabha.

As opposition trained its guns on the BJP over Thakur’s remarks, party working president J P Nadda on Thursday said the Bhopal MP would not be allowed to participate in the Parliamentary party meetings.

“Her statement on Wednesday in the Parliament is condemnable. BJP never supports such statement or ideology,” Nadda added.
