Mangalore : KPCC president Dr Parameshwar said that during Former Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa’s tenure the central has allotted the budget of Rs 66,000 crore, but around 50 to percent of the fund has not used for the state programme.
He was speaking at the press meet held prior to the Congress party meeting held at Shanti Kiran, Nantoor on Jan 9, Monday. He also said that the present CM Sadananda Gowda, in the meeting held at Bangalore called his officer and has agreed that 50 percent of fund allotted has not been spent in 18 district’s ZP.
He said that the state government is completely responsible for not spending any money for the state programme. The financial status of state has failed and the revenue collection has not been done properly.
The state government has also organized a Global Investors meet on agriculture, just to grab the agricultural land from the farmers through land acquisition process. This meet did not have any other purpose to benefit the farmers, he said.
Many state government ministers accuses the officials for giving additional 30 lakh illegal ration cards to the public, in turn they must have the answer for who distributed the cards. This shows that the state government has completely failed in the maintaining the administration. They are not taking any action against the officials like CEO, DC and others who are responsible for this mistake, hence he urged the government to investigate on this issue and take against them.
Speaking on the occasion, AICC general secretary Madhusoodhan Mistri said that not a single MLA from Congress will join NCP.
He also said that when the central government sanctions the fund, the state government demands more, but do not utilize it. Hence further the state government must provide the utility certificate of the fund allotted to release additional funds from the state government.
Speaking about the recent Pakistan Flag hoisting incident at Bijapur, he said that six Sri Ram Sene members were guilty and when questioned they said that they were asked by RSS to do it. This shows that BJP is provoking communal violence in the state.
