Mangaluru: BJP is misleading the people of Karnataka in DySP Kallappa and DySP Ganapathi Suicide case, said District In-Charge Minister Ramanath Rai.
Speaking to the media personnel on Monday at Circuit House, Mangaluru he said that BJP is mum on Kallappa suicide case and in Ganapathi suicide case they staged state wide protests demanding K J George’s resignation.
“Even though there wasn’t any pressure from the high command George resigned to his ministerial post on his own, nut the real pressure was created by BJP. When it comes to Kallappa case BJP haven’t gave any statement on it, as the Bajaranga Dal people are involved in it,” he said.
He further said that BJP demanded CBI probe in DySP Ganapathi suicide case, why don’t they demand for Kallappa’s suicide case.
“14 Central government ministers have criminal cases on them and still they are in power. BJP is double crossing the people of Karnataka. They are misleading people by targeting Congress for DySP suicide case. The BJP is not being able to digest the developmental works done by Congress in past three years,” he added.
Commenting harshly on the attacks on Dalit’s he said that BJP is forcing their thoughts into common peoples mind. They are thrashing Dalit’s in the name of ‘Go-Raksha’. Moreover, those incidents are happening in Modi’s own state. Why those incidents were not handed over to the CBI?
“Congress has worked for the poor’s. People should not believe the double standard statements of BJP, people should believe in Congress,” he said.
MUDA Chairman Ibrahim Kodijal, Mayor Harinath, Youth Congress President Mithun Rai and others were present.
