Mangalore: The BJP party is making the strong attempt to overcome people trust through financial power said G. Parameshwar, the president of the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC).
Addressing reporters at the district office of the Congress on Dec 26, Sunday, he said that BJP is spending unlimited money in the state to purchase votes for Zilla Panchayat and Taluk Panchayat polls, which was been looted by the people in its past 2-and-a-half-year.
Parameshwar, who is travelling all over coastal Karnataka as part of his election campaign, said that, BJP officials are using government vehicles and ambulances to transport huge amounts of money. It has already spent huge amount of money in 12 districts for the first phase of the elections.
Apart from the illegal activities of purchasing votes, it has also introduced the programme like ‘operation withdrawal’ which is an undemocratic method, he alleged.
He also expressed his confidence that the Congress party will gain power in the state by exposing the BJP’s illegal actions.
