Udupi :  Some three to four miscreants  set the car of BJP leader Harshavardhana onfire when it was parked in front of his oppose at Hoode near Kemmannu on October 18 night. Harshavardhana said he saw three persons escaping when he rushed out on hearing the siren of  his Maruti Ritz car.

Harshavardhana is the President of the Standing Committee of BJP in the district and also a BJP and RSS member.

Malpe police are conducting investigations.
