Mangaluru : State BJP Chief Nalin Kumar Kateel  and other BJP leaders was offered Gou Pooja  in front of the BJP office in the city on December 10, Thursday to commemorate the passage of the Anti-Cow Slaughter Bill in the State Assembly on Wednesday.

Speaking on the occasion, Dakshina Kannada MP and State BJP Chief Nalin Kumar Kateel said cows have a very special place in Indian culture. He also congratulated the B S Yediyurappa led government for its success in getting the Assembly nod for the Bill.

He accused the Congress of being in favour of cattle slaughterers and alleged that the Congress was resorting to politics in the name of farmers.
