Mangalore : Members of DK BJP Mahila Morcha staged a protest in front of the DC office on October 30, Thursday urging the government to hand over the IAS officer Rashmi assault case to the CBI.

Addressing the protestors, District Mahila Morcha General Secretary Roopa D Bangera, said that the BJP strongly condemned the assault on IAS lady officer and demand the government to book the culprits under goonda act and hand over case to CBI probe for fair investigation.

State Mahila Morcha Secretary Shyamala Kunder, blamed congress government for failing to initiate action against the culprits in the case.

National Council Member of the Mahila Morcha Asha Jagadish, demanded government to provide security to women IAS officers.

Mahila Morcha members Sumana Sharan, Pulasya Rai and others were present.
