Mangaluru:  Criticising the Sharth Madival’s death during the 144 section and Congress holding peace meeting to concealing it, the Bharathiya Janata Party Mahila Morcha, held a protest meet at Town Hall on July 13, Thursday.

BJP president B S Yeddyurappa addressing the meet said that B Ramanath Rai is not capable enough to defeat the upcoming elections. Rai is playing political games with the help of communal forces. The Congress party won’t win in the elections and Siddaramaiah-led government is coming to an end in another eight months.

“The culprits behind the murder of Shrath Madivala should soon be arrested. We will not spare if they arrest any of the BJP leaders. We are ready to take the protest on the streets if things don’t go under control.” He added

Shobha Karandlaje, MP, Udupi-Chikkamagaluru constituency said, the Chief Minister has convened Congress convention with knowing the news of Sharat’s death, it’s a shame.The communal fights which happened in the district is very shameful and the Congress members like Ministers Ramanath Rai and U T Khader should be held responsible. I dare Rai and the Congress to arrest Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat and me. The state government should hand over the inquiry into the recent communal incidents to National Investigation Agency. There is no doubt that in the coming days, Congress will be zeroed out in Dakshina Kannada.”

Addressing the gathering MP Nalin Kumar Kateel said, “Congress is sponsoring terrorism in Dakshina Kannada. While Ramanath Rai is the person in-charged in such activities. False cases have been registered against the innocent Hindus. We had arrested the culprits of church attacks which happened during our tenure. But the state government is supporting only one community. Today, the district administration has organised a peace meeting. But without the arrest of Sharath’s murderers, we will not attend any of these peace meetings.”
