Manjeshwar  : BJP Yuva Morcha Manjeshwar staged a protest demanding the resignation of MLA of Manjeshwar M C Qamaruddin on Thursday.

The protesters tried to gherao the taluk office of Manjeshwar pushing the barricades that were set up by the police, then, the police used water cannons to disperse the protesters.

The protest was led by women coordinator lawyer Shikha, district president Dhananjay Madoor, vice president Anju, chief secretary Vaishak, Muralidhar Yadav, Yathish Bhandary and Ramya Shetty and other were present.

K Ganesh, state secretary of BJP Yuva Morcha inaugurated the protest meeting.
