Mangalore: The Minority cell of the BJP seems to be displeased with the managements of the St Agnes and the St. Aloysius Colleges in Mangalore. The reason is crystal clear. The managements and students of both the colleges have pledged their solidarity with the victims of the Morning Mist attack and even supported the recent college bundh.
In a press communiqué, Franklin Monteiro, State Vice President of the Minority unit recalled that the college authorities had initiated disciplinary action earlier against students who took part in the protest in support of Anna Hazare’s fight against corruption. “Inciting the students against Hindu outfits does not augur well for the colleges, and overshadows their image as institutions of repute,” he stated.
