Bangalore: The Moodigere MLA, M.P. Kumaraswamy has decided to resign his legislator’s post, it was revealed on Monday, creating a headache for BJP leaders here. The MLA had certain differences of opinion with District BJP chairman N.K. Pranesh, which led to this decision.
Talking to reporters on January 2, 2012, the MLA complained that a local leader Kavish was sacked from the party for some trouble in Aladoor recently but the MLA was not consulted, and that shows there are one-upmanship games in the party, he alleged.
He said he would fax his resignation to the speaker on Tuesday. He did not answer a Query about not getting a cabinet post. He only alleged that Santosh (Org. Secretary) and Pranesh were provoking him to resign by high-handedness.
