Mangalore : The Bharathiya Janatha Party (BJP) district unit celebrated its victory over by poll election in Goa, Uttarkhand, and Punjab by bursting crackers and distributing sweets in front of the district BJP office on March 6, Tuesday.
Padmanabha Kottary, the president of the district BJP, said that he has hope that NDA will win in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. He also said that people are fed up anti-people policies of Congress in the country and therefore cast votes to BJP.
BJP city unit president Shrikar Prabhu, former BJP district unit president Monappa Bhandary and Nithin Kumar, the chairman of the Karnataka State Fisheries Development Corporation (KSFDC), were also present.
