Mangalore : BJP is spreading rumours on BDA site allotment to UT Nasima Fareed Memorial Charitable Trust, BJP making unnecessary allegations against me said, Minister for health and family welfare U T Khadar.
Addressing in a press conference held at Woodland Hotel in Mangalore here on March 27, Thursday, Khader said, BJP and Nalin Kumar Kateel trying to tarnish my political future by spreading rumours.
Khader clarified that, the BDA site in Banashankari reserved for physically and mentally challenged persons development. My brother applied to Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) in 2012-13 for sanctioning civic amenity site. It is reserved for the welfare of physically and mentally challenged persons so the site was allotted to UT Fareed Memorial Charitable Education Trust, he said.
At the same time, six others including the Temple Trust had applied; they were not qualified for the same. The Temple Trust applied to run an information centre in the place, Khader said.
Sadashiv Ullal, Eshwar Ullal, Praveen Chandra Alva and Mithun Rai were present in the press conference.
