Mangalore: The District BJP staged 24 hours protest in front of Town Hall against attack on Baba Ramdev and other agitators at Ramleela Maidan on June 6, Monday.
Addressing the protestors, State Minorities president Anwar Manipady said that the knowledge of Indian Culture was passed on to the people by our country by the saints. He said that saints are said to be the incarnation of god and attacking such a person is condemned.
The central government has sent around 10000 CRF officers to conduct an attack on the agitators at Ramleela and did not even spare women and children.
The central government in these 60 years has reserved the money allotted for the development of the country.
Baba had launched hunger stir on Saturday demanding the centre to enact tougher laws to bring back black money stashed away in foreign banks back to India. But the central government has arrested Baba so that the issue of various scams by them will not leak out.  The money which was allotted to build a new Rama Rajya in the country is kept in Swiss bank he said.
The arrested is being condemned and the people and followers of Baba will never forgive the central government for this act, he added.
