Mangaluru : Members of the Dakshina Kannada District BJP staged a protest  at (KSRTC) bus stand Bejai for the reduction of the KSTRC ticket fares here on Tuesday, November 11.

Addressing to the protesters Former MLA N Yogish Bhat said that the Union government has reduced the diesel prices 6 times, as per international market has come down.

The state government should initiate the appropriate measure reduce the fares, as per the decrease in the diesel rates.

If the state government not take necessary steps , then the party would state wide protests until the prices were brought down, he said.

Former MLC Monappa Bhandary, Sudhir Shetty, Vedavyas Kamath, and others were present.
