Bantwal: Eight days after the body of an active BJP worker, who had disappeared, was found near Padimugeru AMR Dam at Shamboor village here on Sunday evening June 10th.

Ramesh Gowda (45) missing since june 2nd.

It is suspected that Ramesh would have accidentally slipped and drowned in water when taking bath.

G Anand, taluk office employee, BJP leaders, Sadashiva Kaikamba, Sundar, Chandrashekhar and Sheetal visited the spot and conducted enquires.

Ramesh Gowda is survived by wife and two children. Bantwal rural police have registered a case on unnatural death.
