Mangalore : The Mangalore South unit of BJP Yuva Morcha visited the Mangalore Sub Jail on Saturday to celebrate Raksha Bandhan with the inmates with the support of required arrangements were made by the jail authorities.

About 220 men and women prisoners tied rakis on their wrists.

Raghavendra Rao, the president of the Mangalore South Unit of the BJP Yuva Morcha, addressed the prisoners and urged them to cultivate human values.

They also distributed fruits among the prisoners.

Local BJP youth leaders Rakesh Kumar, Jeevan Prakash, Manoj Kumar, Gangadhar, Franklin Monteiro, Avinash, Naveen, Jamal, and others were also present.
