Mangalore: In a demonstration held in front of DCO on Monday Jan.6, 2014 BJP Yuva MOrcha leaders, particularly Rajesh Shetty in his address Objected to the inclusion of 2 tainted ministers, D K Shiva Kumar and Roshan Baig, in the state Cabinet on the advice of congress High Command by CM Siddaramaiah last week.
Shetty told the rally of young persons and voters that the present CM had vowed not to include any tainted person as a minister in his cabinet. However, he has told one thing and done another by a dual policy and taken two tainted ministers who were kept out so long, on account of charge sheets against them in courts of law.
What made CM to change his mind and provide minister ships to two tainted persons in public life, Shetty asked.
The BJP Yuva leader demanded an explanation from CM in the matter, when he has accepted the resignation of iron ore-tainted minister Santosh Lad earlier. Shetty asked CM to take the resignations of the new ministers to keep up the dignity of state cabinet without tainted ministers.
Shetty also asked state governor, Hans Raj Bhardhwaj, to prevail upon CM by intervention, and to drop tainted MLAs who have become ministers of late.
Kishor Kumar Puttur, Brijesh Chowta, Ranjan Gowda and others took part in the massive rally.
