Udupi: Udupi-Chikkamagaluru MP Shobha Karandlaje inaugurated the Industrial Cell of district BJP on Tuesday.
Speaking on the occasion she said that, a industrial convention for medium and small scale industrialists will be held at Udupi which will provide training and helps in development of industries.
“It will be a three days conference and will be held in second week of January. Resource persons from various ministries, bankers and others will be taking the sessions. Promoting the small and middle scale industries will assure sustainable development,” she said.
She further said that under Mudra scheme Udupi district have utilized Rs 300 crore of funds. It is an opportunity for youth to start their small or medium industries by availing loan under Mudra scheme.
“Soon the state government will be losing its prominence as people are not happy with the administration. BJP party workers should unite to strengthen the party for next general assembly elections,” she added.
District BJP President Mattaru Rathnakar Hegde, state BJP General Secretary N Ravi Kumar, K V Raveendra Kumar, Nagaraj Shetty and others were present.
