Mangalore :  The  annual feast of Blessed Joseph Vaz shrine at Mudipu will be celebrated from December 5 to 7 at Miracle Hill, informed Fr Rajesh Madtha, Assistant Parish Priest of the shrine.

He said the theme of the feast this time is “Faith is the Foundation of the family.” A five day Novena will be held upto December 4 prior to the feast, he informed. The votive offering procession will be held on December 2. The procession will proceed from Mudipu Church to Blessed Joseph Vaz shrine.

The main celebrants are  Rev. Fr. Aloysius Paul D’Souza, Bishop of Mangalore.  Fr Denis Prabhu,Vicar General of Diocese of Mangalore and Fr Vinod Lobo, Assistant Parish Priest of Immaculate Conception Church, Kinnigoli

Fr Madtha also said that  special prayers will be offered for the sick,  the poor and for the donors during the feats. An  Anna Santharpane  will be held on December 7.
