Mangalore : Giselle Mehta’s debut novel ‘Blossom Showers’ was released at Reliance TimeOut in City Centre on July 18, Sunday.
Speaking on the occasion, Alan Nazareth, author and former diplomat said that Ms Mehta is a literary genius and she is a person interested in humane initiatives.
In his address, H. C. Parikh, the president of the Indian Chapter of the International Book Readers’ Association said that he is besieged with the writer’s command over English language and research made throughout the in the book.
Mr. Parikh also said that said that the number of book readers in the country has not decreased, and now days, Mumbai is witnessing large more number of book exhibitions and programmes related to books.
Giselle Mehta, the author of Blossom Showers, said that her book is about three generations of the Cordelio family and hopes to reach out to her readers.
