Mangalore : The member of Legislative Assembly, J R Lobo with other officials visited the Kankanady Market on September 18, Wednesday.

Speaking on the occasion, Lobo assured the vendors and market users to solve the problems related to cleanliness, hygiene and leaking roofs in the market as soon as possible.

He also said that the blueprint for the new market will be ready in two months and the market will be established soon.

Lobo said that the new market will allocate separate area for the Fish and Vegetables to be sold in the market.

Congress members T K Sudhir, Karunakar Shetty, Naveen D’Souza, Krithin, Jayakar Samartha and others were present.
