Mangalore: 2 Students of St. Joseph’s Engineering College, Vamanjoor killed at Pavanje, in a grim road accident on Highway 66 on February 29.

Were laid to rest after keeping them for public view at Srinivas hospital in Suratkal on March when fellow students paid last homage to Ashwin P. Peris (22) and Stevan Melwyn Cutinha (24) (on the pillion), killed when their sector was hit by a service bus speeding from Mangalore to Kundapur on February 29, Wednesday last.

The accident accrued at night, around 8-30PM, when Ashwin riding his two-wheeler with Stevan as pillion when was returning from Udupi, had a head-on collision with the service bus coming from opposite side.
