Udupi :  The Save Highway Committee has given a call for a Brahmavar Bundh on September 19 to demand a fly over or a parallel road at Brahmavar to avert the traffic problems that have  cropped up due to highway widening on NH 66.

The Samithi plans to hold a public meeting and the n block the highway from 11 am to 12 noon. A rally will also be taken out to the office of Special Tahsildar of Brahmavar.

Letters highlighting the problems arising out of the project and also the present design for Highway widening. Details in this regard are in a letter and 10,000 copies of the letters will be posted to every house in the area.
