Gurpur: A colorful procession started from Gurpur, Kaikamba to the Vajradehi Math saw invitees and dignitaries of the day march through the streets of Gurupur on Sunday to the venue, to celebrate the 150th birthday of Swami Vivekananda and Vajradehi Jatra on the same day. Addressing the devotees Swami Rajashekharananda asked all Hindus to unite fight any kind of invegency in to their private lives and cultural traditions from invaders of other religions Chakravarthi Sulibele in a speech refer to Swami Vivekananda and his fight for Hindu morals and religious values. Sri Sugunendratirtha Swamiji of Puthige Math refer to Hinduism as a world religion more ancient than the Christian or Muslim religion which came far later to India through invaders and colonial powers the Hindus he asked to unite and fight as a single force all though in Indian history we have never invaded any other Nation in India, but we have kept peace among warring countries by our peace keeping forces the Hindus he added have gone Abroad and lived in Many countries, built temples and preached the tents of Hindu religion in many English-knowing countries, like Swami Vivekananda did in his time (around 1900).
