Kasargod: Two brothers ended their lives by hanging near their house in Yenmakaje Village near Perla, on Monday, February 8.

The deceased are Nagesh (24) and his brother Umesh (22) residents of Pertaje near Shivagiri in Yenmakaje Village.

It is said, Nagesh and Umesh had been to attend a programme at Bajekudlu on Sunday February 7, and after returning home in the evening, Nagesh once again went out to Perla town. After some time, Umesh followed him.

The family members started searching When they didn’t return home even on Monday morning. At last they found both brothers hanging from a Cashew tree a little far from their house.

Sources said, Nagesh and Umesh were coolie workers and they had Alcoholism and every day there were quarrel each other. They had lost their father a few years ago. While the reason for taking the extreme step is yet to be known,

Badiadka police visited the spot and sent  the body for post-mortem. A case has been registered  in Badiadka police  station.
