Mangaluru: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) South Karnataka in-charge Dr G Srinivas has announced that the BSP party under the leadership of Mayawathi and JDS party under the leadership of former Prime Minister Deve Gowda will join together and compete in the upcoming 2018 legislative assembly elections from Sullia constituency in Dakshina Kannada district and Karkala constituency in Udupi district.
He was speaking at a press meet on Thursday and informed that this time BSP has joined with JDS and will be competing from 20 constituencies in the state for the upcoming elections. BSP will be canvassing for the victory of JDS candidates at different assembly constituencies, he added.
BSP North Karnataka in-charge Hariram, state secretary, Dakshina Kannada in-charge Velayudhan, district in-charge Gopal Muttur, district co-ordinator Narayan Bhod, Vice President Shivram Pejavar, cheif secretary Basant Kukkeipadav and Khkanchi Shashikala were present during the press meet.
