Mangalore : Sandalwood Actress and producer Rakshitha Prem said that Swabhimani BSR Congress founder Sriramalu in order to build a equal and concrete Karnataka will hold the ‘Sankalpa Yatra’ from Karwar to Ramanagar from July 29 to August 5.
She was speaking at a press meet held at Press Club on July 17, Tuesday. She said that as a part of yatra the part will also hold massive convention at Town Hall, Mangalore on August 2, Tuesday at 11 am.
The yatra will be held for 8 days covering 1,300 km across Coastal region, Malnad and other places giving solution to the problems of people throughout the yatra. The yatra will also try to reach the people problem to government, hence they will conduct the convention in all the major centres and district centre throughout the yatra.
The yatra will commence from Karwar on July 29 at 11.30 and move towards Sirsi via Kumta. On July 30 it will move to Sorba, Sagar via Shimoga and hold convention there. On July 31, it will hold convention in Hassan in the morning and Chickmagalur in the evening. On August 1, convention will be at Udupi in the evening.
The yatra will continue and move towards Mangalore Town Hall for convention and leave to Sullia in the evening. On August 3rd it will hold convention in Madikeri at 11 am, Mysore on August 4 at 11 am, Chamaraja nagar at 4 pm and on August 5 at 11 am at Mandya and conclude at Ramanagar at 4 pm.
Leader Sriramalu has worked for the poor, harassed and farmers and build a healthy party. He has walked for 900km in 54 days for the people, said Girish Rai, local leader.
Praveen Peter, organisor said that further national party will not survive and only regional party will have a chance in the coming election. The party will nominate 224 candidates from the party.
