Mangalore: A young man clad in a burqa  was caught by the public near Besant College in Mangalore on December 28, Friday. He was found in the company of a young girl.

Public grew suspicious when they saw his Converse shoes. To his bad luck even the shawl slipped and his true colour came to light. On enquiry it came to light that he was Ajith from Udupi and was in love with the girl, his relative, a Mangalorean. The parents of both were opposed to their marriage forcing them to meet in a hush hush manner. On Friday he chose to meet his girl friend by wearing a burkha but was trapped. The two were taken to the Barke police station and released after warning. It is learnt, the police even summoned the girl’s mother and held talks with her.
