Mangaluru : A bus driver was arrested by Mangalore  women’s police personals for sexually harassing a minor girl.

The arrested accused is Dayanand (32), a native of Bagalkot district and works as a bus driver here.

The arrest was made on the allegation that he had committed the said crime on Friday within the limits of Kavoor police station in the city.

It is said that he enticed the victim to accompany him. After reaching a deserted spot, he had sexually harassed the girl. The girl had complained to the women’s police station. The commissioner said that the accused was produced in the court, said City police commissioner N Shashi Kumar.
